Description of Aragonite
Aragonite is a calcium carbonate mineral with the same chemistry as calcite but a different crystal structure. It rates about 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale and occurs in several colors, including the pink and blue aragonite used in our range. It polishes to a soft, glassy to silky luster that suits smooth, rounded shapes.
