Wholesale Picture Jasper Products

Picture jasper is an opaque jasper whose tan, brown and cream bands and swirls often look like desert landscapes, hills or skylines. The patterns come from silt and iron-rich minerals trapped as the silica hardened. Like other jaspers it measures about 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale and polishes to a smooth, satiny finish that brings out the scenic markings.
