Description of Prehnite
Prehnite is a calcium aluminum silicate that usually appears in soft apple-green to yellow-green shades, sometimes with dark needles of epidote running through it. It is moderately hard at 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale and has a translucent, slightly pearly to glassy luster when polished, giving beads a gentle glow.
